Fabric Awning All-Weather Shade

As part of new construction facing the water, our client wanted a patio atmosphere that reflected its specialty dining. Because the location has high foot traffic and is exposed to the elements, we designed a structure that could provide protection against the sun, rain, and temperatures while adding flare with bold colors to match the restaurant's theme.

We created a two-part seating area: a front section with street side dining and and a back section with a raised patio dining area. We utilized our square shaped umbrellas that can be removed and stored with ease to create the front section. These umbrellas provide ample shade from the sun and can be removed at night for more open seating.

The back section has a metal frame structure with louvered designs incorporated into the fascia design.  The cover of the structure is a solid canvas that provides constant shelter from the sun and rain. We also installed remote-controlled retractable solar shade curtains to enclose the upper level patio to provide relief from unfavorable weather conditions.

By having the versatility of two exterior seating areas, this waterfront eatery has gained a competitive edge. Because the restaurant relies heavily on foot traffic with limited parking, its prime focus is to ensure sufficient seating for its customers. Our client now benefits from an extended and comfortable dining area, which results in higher customer satisfaction and more revenue.
