Renderings
Many projects can be quite complex and may be envisioned in a number of different ways. There may also be more than one solution to the same problem. In order to present the possibilities in a clear and concise manner Thompson Architectural Products relies on computer technology in the form of renderings. 3D renderings can be drawn using our CAD software, showing the proposed product from a technical viewpoint. Viewed on the computer monitor, the product can be revolved so it can be viewed from any angle.
Another version of rendering is the photo rendering. It starts with a photograph of the existing job site. Our design team, using photo editing and illustrating software, then creates the proposed design options and superimposes them onto the photo. This is especially helpful when presenting the design to the client as well as government agencies for approval. It clearly shows differences if more than one design is being considered and helps in evaluating colors and general aesthetics. The rendering answers many questions that cannot be answered with words.
Renderings are normally done in the early stages of a project. Ask our project estimator about using this valuable tool on your project.
